Anyone ever get around to trying Emoxypine?

It is supposed to work on b6 levels, while also working on a number of different levels. Check out the wikipedia page. I'm interested for the antialcohol effects, but I have only run across two experience reports, both of which provide very little information.

However, why not protect yourself when going out drinking with friends?
Indeed...
I am by no stretch scientifically-literate when it comes to the area of nootropics. I'm wondering, you sell both Emoxypine and IDRA-21. Do you think the neuroprotective effects of Emoxypine would extend to IDRA-21, which is known to cause neurotoxicity at higher dosages? Do you think one would compliment the other?

Hmm, that's pretty far into the speculation spectrum. IDRA-21 seems to exacerbate glutamatergic damage by making the AMPA receptors more excitable. If Emoxypine helps prevent excess activation of the glutamate receptors, then yes it would help. However, I cannot say for sure. Memantine would help, I know that. I doubt Emoxypine would hurt, but I don't want to say for sure that it would protect you. I would feel more comfortable saying Emoxypine would protect you from oxidative stress, rather than excitotoxicity.
