Magnesium L-Threonate

I'm interested in hearing feedback from anyone that has tried this form of magnesium. In particular, I'm interested in it's possible nootropic effects (and maybe the difference between it and higher doses of other forms like magnesium malate). Below are a few studies:

Supposedly the results of a small study in humans should be released in the near future. However, until that happens all I have to go by are studies on mice and anecdotal feedback.

Similar to what I asked Shrillthrill above, did you notice an increase absorption with the l threonate (lower dose elemental magnesium giving similar results as the other forms)?

Not particularly, no. However, I take magnesium all the time. Perhaps someone that is deficient will get their levels up faster with L-threonate. For regular use, the other forms are more cost effective.
