[Q] Package to Germany held by Customs

Hi, is anyone from Germany in here who has previously ordered stuff from the US and encountered problems with customs? My packet is currently held and USPS says: Payment of charges - Item being held, addressee being notified
Should I ignore the package and let them send it back or do they really just want to charge me a few bucks? I ordered nothing illegal but German customs are sometimes assholes and I don't want to risk a suit.

Just pay the import dues, and they will give you your shipment. It happens all the time to our customers, with much more risky products than you ordered. Don't worry.
