I think that /u/misteryouaresodumb posted once saying that nitrous oxide make have more permanent affect on b12.

Nitrous prevents the transmethylation of B12 by inhibiting methionine synthase. This means that even if you take regular cyanocobalamin, your body will not be able to use it. So supplementing methyl-B12 is a must. Also, SAMe would be a good one to add in if you are using NOS a lot.
