Why does Tianeptine stop working

I had a great two weeks when starting and felt like I think I should feel but don't. Now no matter how high I dose or how often, I get no effect. A one week break and restart has also brought no results. It seems the only things I respond to with any efficacy are phenibut at recreational doses or cannabis.

It has 3 times less affinity for the μ-opioid receptor than codeine,
Yeah and the thing is Codeine itself is crap its the morphine it turns into that does all the effects. It has ZERO opiate effects at normal doseages tested with both powdered and Pharma varients. If it had if the tinyest bit of usefullness as an opiate i would know thanks to my wonderful GI system.
In comparison kratom does not do much either but does something but Kratom is so wildly varying (strains, extracts etc) it could of been down to that. DHC is the king as far as the gut goes, Loperimide second and AH-7921 third.
AH-7921 is a great RC because it is 80% as potent as morphine, lasts forever (12 hours ish), kills pain and has no recreational value. You don't really feel much different on it other then the pain is gone. Unfortunatley its going to made made Class A (same as heroin) in the UK very soon due to some OD's of IV users chasing some recreational effect.

Very interesting. I have not heard of AH-7921. I will have to research it a bit.
Kratom strains are so variable. Some have very little 7-hydroxymitragynine, while others have a lot. It's the extracts that are the really powerful ones.
