Noopept as 17 year old

Hello /Nootropics

Most websites that sell nootropics (noopept specifically) state that you should't use these products if you're under 18 years old. What is the reason for this? If the reason is that it is not safe for a developing brain, will it be safe to use like once or twice a week instead of everyday?

If you are male, your brain does not finish developing till your mid twenties. If you are female, it develops a little earlier. But I always suggest that one waits till their brain is fully developed, before taking nootropics to try and enhance past a baseline level. More proven supplements are fine, like EGCG, CoQ10, DHA, Uridine, etc. However, I would wait a few years before moving to things like noopept.

Yeah, Agomelatine is pretty subtle in the 5-HT2C department. I am going to try and work on brining out a selective 5-HT2C antagonist with higher affinity. I have not decided on a compound yet, though.

Any success stories with bacopa?

Replying to JustAnHuman · Wow that is great I would just like seeing some products we have to take sublingually (e.g. uridine or noopept) in tablet form.

We'll get there. Tablet presses are a lot harder to run, and have more government red tape. However, we will eventually have that capability.
