so why NOT take all nootropics sublingually?

It seems like if you swallow a pill, a large amount of the the supplement is destroyed by your digestion before reaching your blood stream.
So why not take ALL nootropics sublingually, to speed absorption, and increase the concentration actually absorbed?

Believe me, I try everything sublingually at least once. Some things just are not soluble enough in solvents, or do not pass the mucous membranes in the mouth fast enough. Then there are some that literally burn layers off your tongue. Never take Pitolisant sublingually! That shit will destroy your mouth. Then there are some which are very efficient via oral administration, or the dosages are too high for sublingual. It's just easier to take orally in those cases.
