Just keep your caffeine dosage low if you take it with modafinil. I find anything over 100mg and the side effects are too much.
It's really very complicated. There is competitive binding affinities you have to consider. Plus, downstream mechanisms that may alter the effects. Not to mention the varying level of responses between different people.
