I realize they increase cognition, etc., and as a byproduct this could create confidence?
But do they also make you more extroverted and give you a more classic type of social confidence?

Not a nootropic, but LGD-4033 is great at boosting confidence. That is more to do with its testosterone effects. However, it is very noticeable for me, and very fast acting.
I suppose it is all going to come down to why you are lacking confidence. If it is due to anxiety, then a GABAergic might work well. If is it due to depression, then perhaps something like tianeptine would be best. Or if you have low testosterone levels, then something like LGD-4033, or another substance that increases testosterone, would be best. That is why this answer is going to differ from person to person. Some people even get manic off certain nootropics. It's all about the brain chemistry, baby.
