Cycling Semax from Ceretropic

Hi,
I'm just wondering if there is any reason why cycling Semax is recommended? I have been taking it for two weeks and I do like the effects. It is my "go to" nootropic and replaced everything in my stack (I was tired of having to take 3-4 different substances).
I'm planning on taking Semax for 4 months (until I run out because I don't want to waste any and it will "expire by then") and then do a two month cycle of Noopept and fasoracetam (to curb the irritability). Go back on Semax then.
Will it downregulate anything? If I take the weekend off, is it enough? Any papers on why we should cycle? Is Tkb downregulation permanent?
I take 10mg a day of Noopept and 500mcg of Semax SQ.
My objective are long term neuroplasticity and mental "youth".

Good! I didn't know forskolin could help with that. I'll look into it!
Do you cycle Semax?

I used it for months without stopping, then took a few weeks off. I notice no real tolerance. However, going from not using it, right back to 1mg, is definitely noticeable.
