N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine vs L-Tyrosine: Is there a difference?

All of the suppliers I find seem to label their tyrosine as either N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine or just L-Tyrosine. Are these the same substance with the same effect?

For someone who gets mild anxiety with L-tyrosine 500mg doses, do you think NALT will be any better than it or PhenylAlanine? What doses would you recommend for NALT?
