For the past 8 months I've been under a lot of stress, job-loss, starting school at the University of Toronto, I've been living on employment insurance and have been having nightmares regularly. It's been a rough summer.
I've been walking for 2-3 hours a day, hitting the gym 3-4 times a week and in the past 1.5 months began meditating, deep-breathing exercises and keeping thought journals to try and combat stress. Well, I won't throw it away unless I experience it, but this isn't the first time I've encountered this advice. I did a lot of browsing this sub and other forums and you're certainly not the only person who warns about this.

There are bunch of enzymes in the raw maca that mess your GI tract up. And yes, there is the possibility of microbes on the powder as well. But even if the powder is perfectly sterile, the enzymes are not good for your system.
