I'm guessing they either pay for a difficult synthesis OR they've obtained it through channels in which an extraction and purification was done?

Any chance Ceretropic will one day find out where to source pure mitragynine?

Yeah, I bet they paid a shitload for the study. Production synths will be a lot more. There is always a chance, but this one is pretty low. Just look at the structure.
