Rhodiola Rosea and Estradiol?
Original post in this thread

I'm thinking about adding Rhodiola Rosea to my daily stack (Which currently consists of L-Theanine, Caffeine, and Magnesium) however, I'm a transwoman on HRT and have to take 6mg of Estradiol daily.
I've read conflicting things about how Rhodiola Rosea interacts with Estrogen, some saying it increases it and some saying it inhibits it. Does anyone have an idea if it would be fine for me to take it and it not interfere with my HRT?

Salidroside is used in some testosterone supplements, and is even effective at causing apoptosis in cancerous breast cells. It has been shown to interact with estrogen receptors as well. However, the effects do not seem to lead to adverse interactions with Estradiol.

These studies demonstrate that RR interacts with the ER, suggesting estrogenic or antiestrogenic potential. However, treatment of OVX rats did not invoke estrogenic responses in uterus or pituitary. Further, when administered with estradiol, RR does not potentiate estrogen action in OVX rats, and appears to increase metabolism of E2. This work suggests that RR, when taken orally, is unlikely to present an estrogenic risk to women who may seek to avoid such agents.
