With the support of DARPA, we are working on a line of advanced probiotic bacteria that are designed to protect the body from dangerous infections. These organisms specifically target and remove bacteria with harmful traits - such as antibiotic resistance - while leaving healthy bacteria intact. Moving forward, we see this technology supporting a broad range of probiotics designed to eliminate recalcitrant bacterial infections.
