Why is alpha gpc often labeled as 50%?

I've tried multiple alpha gpc products and some they are listed as 50%, does anyone know what this means? Other brands don't say this at all, does this mean they are all 50% purity or something?

probably because it requires 50% something else to stabilize the contents. it's extremely hydrophilic, as people have found with the bulk powder it turns to goo/soup simply by being exposed to air.

Yep, pure Alpha-GPC is not stable at all. It oxidizes very fast, as evidenced by 5kg of pure alpha-GPC liquid that is useless to us now. Haha
