First time impressoins after one week of using Kratom

I don't hear much about Kratom here. Last week I did some research on it and here is my experience with it starting last Sunday. xpost from /kratom
I read about Kratom on GoodLookingLoser. They have a decent guide about it so after reading the three part series I bought a handful of different strains. The primary concept from their guide is that you need to switch strains every day to avoid tolerance building.
My primary goal is to find ways to enhance my daily functioning. I'm high energy and outgoing at work but always want another edge up. I thought Kratom might be a good boost. Only supplement I'm taking is caffeine.
I ordered a handful of different varieties from mmmspeciosa.com. Fast shipping and they gave a few free samples. I got:
Kali Kaya White Thai Powder, Tawa Tua Indo Powder, Classic Bali Powder. All 25g. They included the Red Vine Thai (which is weird because they were out of stock, it's what I originally wanted) and Green Malaysian as a sample. 10g of each.
Sunday I took 3g of the Kali Kaya (weighed on a food scale, put a sip of water in mouth, powder in mouth, more water, swallow. It's not THAT bad). Felt a slight effect but nothing too significant. About 2 h…

I have heard of it having positive effects on motivation which could be beneficial. I believe u/MisterYouAreSoDumb has experience with kratom and noted its effect on motivation.
It may not be a nootropic but its social and motivational effects are definitely interesting.

Yep, I use it all the time. It is not a nootropic, and needs to be respected.
