Nicotine used sporadically

Original post in this thread

Ive built a stack that I've quite liked over the past few months. I was wondering if anyone has experience with using nicotine every now and then (I.e big test or exam) or is it better served as a study aid? Also will rhodiola have a significant enough MAO inhibition to potentiate addiction ?

I occasionally chew on nicotine gum. I have also combined it with rhodiola without issue. There is very little, if any, addiction with pure nicotine. The MAOIs in tobacco seem to be key in forming that addictive tendency.

Has anyone tried Excelerol? I'm interested in trying it because it is apparently one of the best nootropics out there, but I'm a bit suspicious because I've never heard anyone talk about it on this subreddit.

Are Increased Gaba Receptors By Chronic Caffeine Intake A Good Thing?

Nicotine up-regulates nicotinic ACh receptors, but also desensitizes them. It's more complex than just up/down-regulation. Acutely, caffeine lowers GABAergic neurotransmission. [Inhibitory effect of caffeine on GABA-ac
