Okay to take Phenylpiracetam with food/drink (not sublingual)

So I tried Phenylpiracetam for the first time today. I took 100mg sublingually, and it was disgusting. There may have been a 1 hour period where I felt slightly less anxious, but it was so subtle that it could have just been placebo.
Because of the taste, I'm wondering if I can just combine the powder with an egg omelette or something. That may mask the taste a little bit.
I've heard that you get the best effects from taking it sublingually, though. Is this true, or would just combining it with food/drink work just as well?
I may also make some tea and mix it with the tea.

Sublingual is always going to be a faster onset. However, phenyl is pretty bad tasting. Most people just take it orally. I take it sublingually because I seem to be able to handle bad tastes better than most. As long as it is not damaging my mucous membranes, I am cool with it.
