0.5mg Melatonin giving me long, deep sleep and amazing dreams, but leaves me feeling lethargic into the next day despite taking stimulants.

Adderall and coffee are great for me, except they prevent me from being able to achieve relaxed, aimless, states that are important for things like creativity. I noticed my bedtime kept getting pushed back, I stopped having dreams, and felt like my brain was just toiling with complex problems for the entire night until morning in which I ninja jump out of bed ready to pwn another day of life. Over time, I feel like this nonstop state of mind was wearing away at me and my creativity so I dug out an old bottle of Melatonin to take before bedtime.
I love that I'm able to dream again and be present in my sleep rather than anxiously solving the world's problems. The only issue now is said hangover. I'm slow to get out of bed, and feel super groggy and lazy until mid day. It feels nice and relaxing, but I gots work to be did, yo. Perhaps it's not something that should be taken every night? Anyone have experience with this? Thanks.
