There's an allegedly more effective and safer version of memantine called nitromemantine. All I've found is what's in this article but it seems pretty amazing. Does anyone know of a supplier or have any experience with this?

It's more effective in cases of Alzheimer's. However, they are targeting damaged neurons, specifically eNMDA receptors. This allows it to target only hyperactive neurons. In healthy individuals, this might not be what is most effective.
