Inositol self-report after a few weeks

tldr: I found it helpful for anxiety.
I've been regularly taking inositol for at least about four weeks now. I had two purposes for it:
To help with my anxiety and mild depression (neither diagnosed, just my own labels), both improving my quality of life and reducing worry-based procrastination.
To work as a social lubricant without the negative effects of alcohol.
Method, taken after a meal/food:
drink a glass of water (or less, if I'm not thirsty)
put half a teaspoon of inositol into my mouth (or sometimes a whole teaspoon)
push it up behind my top lip with my tongue
slowly let it dissolve
The intent here was:
Absorb it into my bloodstream so I could notice it working faster.
Avoid any stomach upset side effects by not swallowing it all - there's a warning on the container that it can cause diarrhoea. I still swallow a fair bit of the inositol as it dissolves.
Enhance the placebo effect by being a more interesting method than quickly swallowing, and enjoying the sweet taste for a while.
I'd often have around 4 teaspoons a day, but not necessarily the same amount every day. I'd take it when I wanted to improve my mood. I tried keeping it under my tongue on…

Well, a teaspoon can be as many as 4 grams, in my experience with kratom/baking (sugar).
