Reliable kanna from Australia for friend who is suicidal?

He is getting treatment and on protozac or some derivative of it and i want to introduce him to kanna, i heard it was awesome for depression, so i was wondering does anyone know where to buy a reliable source from Australia? A website perhaps?

are you sure you can mix kanna with his current medication? Generally it's not a good idea.

Is kanna safe? Is it a nootropic? This is the first I've heard of it.

A glance at pubmed after reading the wikipedia page suggests that kanna is, like prozac, a commercially available SSRI.

It's not really a nootropic. It is a mild PDE-4 inhibitor, so it might have slight cognitive benefits. However, they are not noticeable in my experience.
