Kratom just got me through some horrible pain after a shoulder injury

Just wanted to offer this anecdotal report since I am not really a fan of pharmaceutical opiates and I believe people should have info on this great alternative.

* I woke monday in the wee morning hours with excruciating pain in my left shoulder, seems likely that I just sprained or tore something while rolling over in bed (or some intense sleep-fighting maybe, heh)

* I was literally just writhing around in agony, until I downed my first 5 gram dose of kratom tea.

* For 36 hours I dosed consistently - 5 grams about every 4-6 hours - and stayed comfortable

* Last night after my last dose of the day wore off, I decided I was comfortable enough to sleep unmedicated. Proceeded to get an awesome night's sleep.

* Today I plan to take zero doses - my arm is comfy hanging in it's sling, I'm starting off with coffee, so far ZERO indications of withdrawal (really surprised me given that I've never dosed this heavily for 2 days straight, was expecting to need a couple smaller doses to taper me off)

So there you have it. Kratom is a great alternative to pharmaceutical pain-killers, even cheaper, and with fewer side-effects [edit] in my experience [/edit]

I've never understood the problem of taste. I always mix it well with juice/smoothie and I barely notice it. It is kind of bitter, but honestly it is nothing compared to kava.

Grapefruit juice makes even the most potent tasting strains easy to drink.

Kanna- fantastic anxiolytic nootropic

Replying to Guthix47 · You sure? I mean there's kava bars and shit but kanna seems pretty unheard of. Where does it rank health wise between things like kava, kratom, and cannabis?

Kava has hepatotoxic compounds in its leaves. So poorly made extracts can cause liver damage. That's probably what you read. Kava root itself is pretty safe. Just don't get the leaves mix in the extract. There are no kn

This may sound strange, but I need some help with my doctor

You could get kava for the anxiety and kratom for the pain. Both are legal and easy to get online. One is a benzo and the other an opioid.

Shoden vs Panamax

Replying to kavacoordinate · No I would say it's still kind of the median. I just haven't noticed any overt sense of well-being or energy or mood improvement when I take it.

Okay, so it is not making you agitated like ashwagandha. That's good. The mood and energy effects are subtle. It's not like taking a strong dose of kava or kratom. This is a more subtle supplement for daily use. Also, so

I've been personally testing mulungu for about a month now. We are working with a guy in Brazil who makes it. It's definitely good for sleep. No doubt about that. I prefer kava for daytime use, though. Mulungu just shuts
