Yeah, there aren't many other cases where a 126 year old drug is the most prescribed for a common disease. You've got to think someone has been asleep at the switch for quite a while... it's a bit like if cocaine were still the preferred treatment for depression.

Haha, that's the truth! I am amazed at how little mainstream research there has been to improve the structures of many of these older compounds. Jason and I have some ideas for new compounds that we will be coming out with soon as well. Hopefully we will stumble upon the next big thing!
