L-Theanine. The only nootropic I have faith in.

I just wanted to express this for those who are looking for advice on nootripics. I have tried a good amount. I've been on prescription and tried dozens of over-the-counter things, I've even microdosed psychedelics (well worth it). But the one thing that keeps sticking out to me, the one supplement I actually can feel had an effect was none other than l-theanine.
It's unexpensive relative to coffee and has eased my social interactions to a point where they are not in any way an issue, rather they are now something I look forward to.

That's pretty much just an opinion. I have gone with as much as 3:1 theanine:caffeine and it's still good. Before I built up a bit of a tolerance to caffeine I had to take it at least 3:2 to get a good experience (no nervousness from the caffeine).
The correct dose is whatever you figure out works for you.

And I have gone with 1:2 and gotten the best results. The point is, the 2:1 ratio is not the most efficient for everyone, yet everyone constantly tells people to start there.
