I have been very cautious with this compound, I got it from the first NSN batch. When I received it back in April I tried a 7 mg dose and got what seemed like a rather strong psychoactive effect (a friend of mine tried the same dosage and got none of the effects I got). At least when compared with other nootropics which for me usually arouses benign if any recognizable changes in perception. Since it had only been tried by a handful of people and since it had this notable effect on me I was put off by it and put sunifiram aside to await more reports from the community.
Today I tried it again, a 5 mg dose taken sublingually (it was absorbed extremely rapidly, within seconds), co-administered with 4 mg of nicotine. I can most definitely say that this compound produces notable changes in perception for me. The most pronounced alterations are increased peripheral awareness and alterations in auditory perception. A general shift in consciousness was also prevalent, and certain imagery (such as a biker whizzing past me) left lingering imprints in my visual system. I think the co-administration with nicotine was a bad idea, with sunifiram being cholinergic, since I at first got slightly…

If I take sunifiram with any type of stimulant, I get unwanted side effects. It seems like a very dirty nootropic. The only reason it exists is that unifiram is expensive to make. It was the result of them trying to make unifiram in a cheaper to synthesize way, while still maintaining relative receptor affinities. I don't think they did a very good job, to be honest. It has too many ancillary interactions.
