What nootropics do you recommend to treat my severe neurotransmitter imbalance?

It's frightening how complex the brain really is.. intimidating to say the least! If only it were as simple as low serotonin/dopamine/neurotransmitter x!
Honestly I find it more interesting/fun to take known concepts/phenomena and piece them together, apply them.. stuff like that. Learning about the brain can be a little frustrating sometimes, being that there's so much we don't know - how am I supposed to complete this puzzle if we don't yet have all the pieces? It sure doesn't stifle me though. Lots of interesting stuff we've learned so far. I'm really impressed with the theoretical therapeutic alternatives to L-DOPA considered in the literature in the treatment of Parkinson's Disease. It's surprisingly more complex than oxidative damage destroying dopaminergic neurons (if only it were that easy!), which really blew me away! Haha.

Yeah, the brain is complex. It's more awe inspiring to me, rather than intimidating. Imagine how boring it would be if our brains were simple!
