Subject Details - Male, 22, 5'6", 130 lbs. Currently taking Venlafaxine 220mg and Caffeine 150mg in the morning with Melatonin 2mg and Hydroxyzine Pamoate 25mg before bed.

Previous Experiences - Piracetam, Nefiracetam, Noopept, Clonazepam, Lorazepam, Alprazolam, Bupropion, Propylhexedrine, Cocaine.

Backstory - About a year ago I was diagnosed with Dysthymia, a chronic low-grade depression which primarily effects motivation, mood, and energy. He's been understanding about my issues, prescribing antidepressants with stimulant effects and encouraging me to see an independent psychiatrist if I want to try an amphetamine; I chose not to, opting to try OTC meds and Nootropics first. I tried various Racetams, none of which provided any noticeable effects except Nefiracetam, which provided very mild improvements in focus, but not strong enough to be considered effective. After researching I decided to try Adrafinil as an introduction to Eugeroics before diving in and buying Modafinil. The…

That makes sense. I have a friend who was (almost) prescribed it for narcolepsy, and I believe that adrafinil would be a much cheaper option for him (and me hehe).

I took some adrafinil today, actually. I combined it with tianeptine to see how well it stacked. I have been very happy and enjoying music all day. So far the combination seems pretty nice.

I always take L-theanine and taurine with stimulants, though. This helps balance out the stress on the cardiovascular system. Plus I added in ALCAR and ALA.

Ceretropic Review (Noopept and L-Theanine/Caffeine)

Awesome! I am glad you like them. I must just be weird, because I actually like the taste of the noopept. Everyone, including Jason, says that it is not pleasant. I never minded powdered noopept under my tongue, though.

Here to warn the community that I've experienced debilitating rebound anxiety when taking l-theanine. It was 100 percent this substance. Quit a week ago and back to baseline. Theanine is going in the trash.

[META] Modafinil discussions should not be prohibited anymore. The hype around it has died down, and it is still one of the most effective and safest nootropics.
