Just received COA of some bacopa extract I purchased. Here is a link to a study evaluating the acceptable levels of heavy metals in dietary supplements. depending on whose standard you go by .86ppm of lead is either above or below. erring on the side of caution i am probably going to return the product. opinions. should i keep it and ingest or no?

edit: i have been taking a different brand of bacopa for a few months. and purchased this in bulk to save money, i havent started taking it yet because i still have some left in the original bottle. i dont have a coa for the brand i am currently taking, thus it could be more or less than the bulk bacopa i purchased.
edit 2: received the COA for gotu kola and its 1.866ppm. ie more than double that of the bacopa.

interesting. my seller sent it immediately. i purchased the product through their website. i also purchased gotu kola from them, and the coa for the gotu kola was 1.86ppm. nearly double the lead of bacopa, and it was higher in some other toxic chemicals. i am going to make a follow up post on the gotu kola if i have time. really glad i asked for the coa before starting to take it.

I just emailed them saying that I am a moderator of a supplement forum with 23,000 subscribers, and we are discussing which suppliers are reputable. I told them I cannot suggest them as a reliable bacopa source until they get me the purity and heavy metals analysis. I also mentioned that other vendors have already given us their COAs in a timely fashion.
Let's see if that puts a fire under their asses.
