First off, I would like to applaud Pure Encapsulations for giving us this info. It's retarded that I have to be pleasantly surprised that they did, as I think everyone should give us the results. However, it seems everyone is just ignoring my requests lately. I'm looking at you Himalaya!

Now let's look at the numbers. Their capsules contain 200mg of 20% extract. That means to get the recommended dosage of 150mg bacosides per day, you would have to take 5 capsules per day. Since each capsule contains .092mcg, that leaves us with .46mcg of lead per day. The suggested limit is 10mcg per day. So we are well below the limit.

Most places are shit. I do not trust Swanson. I've used Vitacost before, but I would not say I really trust them. Never heard of Sevenhills Wholefoods. A lot of smaller brands pop up, sell for a bit, then disappear. Seve

Yeah, that's SGS in India. This is one of the labs we were fighting with on their numbers. They kept getting over 50% and we kept getting 24%. They sent us huge packets with testing data, and their methods and documentat

Bacopa Monnieri: The Most Impressive Natural Nootropic?

Replying to AdAstraPer5-HT2Ar · Exercise boosts the fuck out of me much more than caffeine or nicotine so there's that. I don't think that there is anything else in my stack that would counter it. Bacopa's pharma

I think the most likely explanation is the simple one. Bacopa up-regulates tryptophan hydroxylase, which increases 5-HTP production, which competes with L-DOPA for the aromatic L-amino acid decarboxylase enzyme, which lo
