Depression is such a weird thing because you cannot say if its chemical or your life.
For example you take too much choline, your resilience is down, something bad happens in your life and you contemplate suicide.
When your life works out then you wont noticed your lowered resilience and think everything is ok.
Im not saying it IS like that but that it can be hard to prove that your bad mood comes from a supplement.

I definitely notice any change in my mood, even if life is going great. I am VERY introspective; almost to a fault. In fact, I can let small chemical changes affect my mood adversely; sometimes ruining an awesome time I am having. I have to stay on top of my thoughts to put a top to it, or I can let it spiral down.
I am very weird. I've learned over the years that I do not think like everyone else. I've also learned how to stop myself from destroying myself. It took me almost killing myself multiple times before I figured it out, though. If a substance affects my neurotransmitters in a depressive way, I notice immediately. It's just something I have to live with. My brain can do some awesome things. It can also do some fucking stupid things.
