Extraverts performing a working memory task benefit more from caffeine than do introverts.

Adrafinil worked for me for maybe a week. I was taking it every other day and a weekend break, by about the 6th or so dose, I felt NONTHING off 300+ MG. I took a few more days off and doubled my dose, got some alertness for a couple of hours, then crashed.
Caffeine, I have to space it out. Too much at once means a feel good buzz and some jitters, then a crash and sleepiness / irritability the rest of the afternoon. I dose about 300-400 mg evenly throughout the day and this works in conjunction with some others (below)
Sulbutiamine: Noticed it for 1 day (Placebo?) I tried varying my dosage and different times of the day, 1x morning, 1x afternoon, etc and never got anything else out of it after day 1 or 2. Gave up.
Prescription ADHD medicines: Work the best for me. Awesome energy (mentally, but doing physical work like playing soccer or running makes my stomach hurt and head feel light). I can make any task enjoyable and efficient. Tolerance builds quickly and does not die down. I took a year break. When I started back again, I did half the dose (adderall) and felt nothing and doubled up. I had a mild buzz and boost in productivity.
Ephedrine: This is what I currently am using with caffeine. I take ~120 mg Caffeine + 37.5 mg Ephedrine + 650 mg aspirin in the morning, then ~100 mg caffeine + 25 mg Ephedrine about an hour after lunch to counter the food crash.…

37.5mg is 3 times my dose of ephedrine! The 25mg is still double mine. Also, I take bacopa, taurine, and rhodiola with it. It helps to smooth out the bad effects, and stave off tolerance. The bacopa regulates the reinforcing aspects of the dopamine increase, the taurine helps calm the cardiac muscles, and the rhodiola helps regulate the adrenergic system so it does not get burnt out.
