Though, some foods which contain spermadine also contain putrescine which is undesirable.

I'm a camembert man myself. Perhaps this could be a factor in the French paradox.
It says that spermadine attacks decarboxylated S-adenosyl methionine, turning it into spermine. I wonder if it would be a good idea to supplement SAMe with it?
