when i wrote the second part of this log i was in a very peculiar frame of mind; i felt unlike myself. Reality was changing to much to keep control of what once was and what now is. Thinking back on it, its almost as if memantine was prompting my brain to rewrite itself. I am still very much me, the base personality is untouched, the outlook however could not be more different.
The things that have changed in less then a week (started last Thursday, today is the tues and its 1:40 pm).
1. How i feel: Its not just preventing new tolerance to adderall. I feel better every day than any amount could do to me even after a month long tolerance break. Thinking about it, every day is better than the number 1 vaaaary first day i ever tried adderall. I constantly am in a good mood, but i feel very much like myself. It is too early to tell (day 6) but this may be a permanently sustainable mild euphoria.
2. driving: I used to drive way over the speed limit to the point of reckless fast. I would have called myself good at the skill of driving, i could stay dead center of a tiny country road going…

That outlook is very common with those who take dissociatives. Eventually most people say the side effects taper off after a week or two.
