Can we put a moratorium on the "where can I get modafinil" posts?

There's 4 posts on sources on the front page today alone and more keep getting submitted, it's getting tedious especially with more than enough information in previous posts, the FAQ and elsewhere.

Unless there is something I missed (which is possible, I am a very lazy mod) there are no mod options for the FAQ idea. It would have to be in the reddit codebase and isn't. Same for the prohibition period. You can decide that only approved submitters can put stuff up, but there is no option to have an automated time delay. Although I guess you could write a custom bot to do it.

Basically the only way to make it really work is a lot of moderation. Which isn't undoable at all, but it requires a lot of active mods to keep up with. The largest sub I mod is only around 2.5k and stuff we need to kill still stays up for two to four hours most of the time before we catch and remove it.

Normally I'm quicker, but I just had shoulder surgery yesterday, and am hooked up to an automatic cooling/circulation machine with one useable arm. I'm actually using my galaxy note 2 with one hand right now. It's hard to mod like that! Haha

I'm sure there is a way we can make the sidebar more efficient. We can even have links pop up when posts are about to be made. However, there is no way to automatically have a probation period for new users. That's a manual process at the moment.

Lately this subreddit has been turning into "Modafinil and Me." This is a place to advance our knowledge of all nootropics, not simply beat the latest popular one to death. I understand that many of you have questions ab

It's time to have the Modafinil talk again.

It's been seven months since I made this post: http://www.reddit.com/r/Nootropics/comments/199n7l/modafinil_posts/ We had a lull in the modafinil posts for a while, but now they are back in full swing. I just want to re

Here to warn the community that I've experienced debilitating rebound anxiety when taking l-theanine. It was 100 percent this substance. Quit a week ago and back to baseline. Theanine is going in the trash.

Found Nootropics in sons room.

Talk to him about it. Modalet is just Modafinil. It is a lot safer than the Amphetamine he is on for ADHD. However, he should make sure you are okay with everything he is doing. You are his parent, afterall. But you need
