Sub-lingual Powders?

I am genuinely curious on how to properly dose powders sub-lingually. I really wouldn't want to put the powders in my mouth and then just spit them out for fear I am doing it wrong, so how can one do it correctly and without many of the ancipitable issues?
P.S: Sorry if this has been asked before, I searched every thread using the term Sublingual...I couldn't find it. =(

Of course you will.

It depends on the substance. I have dosed up to 750mg sublingually. Usually that is on the high end, though.

Keep your tongue down.

It depends. 2-8 minutes usually.
