Nootropics and Libido

Original post in this thread

One month ago, I cycled off of everything I was using to re-establish my baseline. Last Monday, I started back up on piracetam (2.0g), citicoline (0.5g), and sulbutiamine (100mg ever other day). I didn't realize it until now, but in the three weeks I was off nootropics, I hadn't masturbated at all. I'm almost certain that there is a direct correlation between the cycling and my depressed libido, because there's a three week gap in the log I've been keeping to track my sexual activity (among other things) that lines up with my three weeks off everything. Is there any research to support such a conclusion, or does anyone else have similar findings? I realize this might be an awkward subject, but in the interest of science I'm withholding my reservations.

On a similar note, is there anything that downregulates your libido? I get a lot more work done when my brain isn't ogling everything female in the room I'm in.

PS: In regards to not realizing I hadn't masturbated in 3 weeks, it seems, according to my log, that I simply "forgot". Somehow, the desire to masturbate was absent, and I was blissfully unaware of its absence, else I would have been a little worried. It perturbs me as to…

Ever since I almost died while traveling in India, my immune system has not been the same.

can you explain how you almost died? Also what are you stacking exactly besides noopept?

I got a lung infection. When I got to the hospital in Gurgaon India, my BP was 70/40. They stabilized me, but did not give me much information on what happened. When I got back home, the doctors thought I had tuberculosis and put me on travel restriction. I went through a bunch of tests and came back negative for TB. However, I remained sick for 6 months until it finally cleared up. The doctors have no idea what it was.

Ever since, my immune system has been shit. I get sick from the smallest things, and remain incapacitated for weeks. Stomach illnesses, sinus infections, the flu; you name it and I get it throughout the year. I never get a little sick either. When I get sick, I am out of commission. My immune system just can't fight things off. My last blood test showed low white blood cell count, but not enough to be super alarmed at.

I stack many things including piracetam, oxiracetam, pramiracetam, aniracetam, noopept, phenylpiracetam, nefiracetam, ALCAR, Na-R-ALA, DMAE, Alpha GPC, bacopa, vitamin D, EGCG, quercetin, L-theanine, taurine, DHA, creatine, etc.

It seems to be primarily piracetam and noopept that correlate most to the start of my issues.

There is no issue with piracetam in the UK. Your government doesn't care about nootropics. The new law was just meant to prevent legal highs. We don't have issues shipping any of our products to the UK. Adrafinil is met
