Would it be a good idea to switch from Adderall to Ritalin?

Hearing about how Adderall may be neurotoxic isn't really floating my boat. I have three months of Adderall left so I have an appointment scheduled with my psychiatrist coming up. Is there that big of a difference between the two in terms of focus, cognition, motivation etc...

It would be a good idea to get off dopaminergic stims altogether. Amphetamine can definitely be neuorotoxic, due to it's effects on VMAT within neurons. This causes DA to be broken down by MAO before being transported back into the vesicles.
Methylphenidate, like cocaine, is cardiotoxic. This is going to put significant strain on your cardiovascular system. It is not neurotoxic, but is damaging nonetheless.
