Just started using Modafini (Modalert); has anyone else experienced pain in their...kidney(s)?

I was not on any sort of stack, so I am very certain it was a side-effect due to the Modafinil (Modalert) tablets I took... the first day 100 mg x 2 and the second day 200 mg x 2. A mild nagging pain - not sharp or overwhelming.
I did search the archives of Reddit but found very little. Although I am paying a scheduled visit to my physician tomorrow (part of a check-up) it is not something I can ask him: 1) I'm in Japan 2) he'd likely respond with WTF?! and freak out I am using medications that were not properly prescribed by a Japanese medical doctor.
As I indicated, the pain is mild and bearable. I'm just trying to figure out what the cause might be... will continued usage produce kidney stones from Hell? Otherwise, I plan to keep using...

Ok, thanks for the response. So if I'm understanding this correctly, ibuprofen is a substrate of CYP2C9. So if I took ibuprofen it would be more effective. Does that mean I ought to avoid it entirely or just lower my dose if I've got modafinil in my system? (That seems to be the only thing I use regularly that I could find associated with the enzymes you mentioned, but if there are any other potential things to look out for I'd appreciate the advice.)

That's correct. It would most likely lead to higher ibuprofen serum levels. That means you may need to lower your dose.
There are not too many regular things to think about with interactions. Some antibiotics and things like that perhaps. It would be more of an issue for those taking opiates or certain stimulants, as higher levels of those can lead to dangerous situations.
