Why not more about Panax Ginseng?

The FAQ and Examine.com shows Panax Ginseng as effective, but I don't see many references to it. Why is that?

I don't think taurine would be a good idea, especially in the long run - it's a GABA agonist. :\

It's not a GABA agonist. It increases levels of GABA like L-theanine does. Also from the paper you linked, it increases glutamic acid decarboxylase. This should protect against glutamate excitotoxcitity. It is also very good for your cardiovascular system.
