young children doing drugs
Original post in this thread

The other day I met someone who claimed to start smoking weed at the age of four. I'm sure that was bullshit, but it made me think about the ethics of letting children/making children do drugs. What kind of drug do you think would be the best for a child? What do you think psychedelic use such as acid, shrooms, or DMT would do to a child's simplistic worldview? I've never really had a full on discussion about it, except to know that most people say it's wrong.

I'm not 'blaming' colonialism. Im explaining the social production of the present day. History is a fact too. Do you think the world just emerged fully formed 40 years ago or something?

Did you not read my comment?!? Literally my first sentence is agreeing with that.
Well of course they are. They did not have the issues they face today hundreds of years ago.
Colonialism did it to them. I agree. That changes nothing about my argument that we should not say, "Well the Indians have their children smoke peyote, so we should use that as a model for all children." I don't even know if Indians let their children use peyote. The argument is baseless and unsound.
