Anybody know of any first hand accounts of long term noopept use?

Noopept has been shown to increase NGF and BDNF in hippocampal and cortical regions of the brain, but to my knowledge, the mechanism of action for this increase is not known. (Basically, these peptides are increased, which correlates with neuron growth and replication, but the receptor or site of action for the increase in mRNA that leads to these peptides being produced is unknown. Specific cells types are also not identified in this study, they simply isolated regions of rat brain and through a number of steps isolated and identified BDNF/NGF proteins from the sample of potentially millions of neurons, glia, and other cells present in the sample. They found these proteins to be increased.)
Hippocampal neuons have only very recently been shown to replicate via hippocampal stem cells lines (people have always previously thought the brain was unable to produce new neurons), and this activity is apparently very low compared to other stem cells, like those in the bone marrow. I find it VERY unlikely that an increase in either NGF or BDNF by Noopept could cause enough cell proliferation (even of DNA damaged cells that are potentially carcinogenic) to result in a tumor derived from neurons themselves. This is exceedingly rare, to non-existent.
However, because the mechanism of action for this increase in NGF/BDNF is not entirely known, there could potentially be concern…
