What legitimacy, if any, does this study have which claims that THC can reduce MDMA neurotoxicity in mice?

THC has been proven to prevent neurotoxicity by lowering body temperatures. His estimation of dose is not taking allometric scaling of species into consideration. The dose in the study he is referring to is 3mg/kg in mice. This would be 3*4/37 = .32mg/kg. This would be the equivalent of me taking 25mg THC. That is not nearly the amount he is thinking.

Here is another rat study at 2.5mg/kg. This would be 6*2.5/37 = .4mg/kg in humans.

Another study showing THC lowering of body temperatures in rats.

His statement about THC causing hyperthermia is true, but only when administered alone. When administered with MDMA, it lowered the hyperthermic response. All evidence that I can find points to THC mixed with MDMA being neuroprotective to 5-HT neurons.
