Anyone have any experiences with Maca Root?

I've surprisingly seen very little on Reddit or anywhere really about the effects/benefits of Maca Root (besides herb selling websites). I have been taking this stuff for about a week now at about 5000 mgs a day in 3 divided doses. Let me tell you, I find this stuff to be incredible. I haven't had a drop of caffeine in the entire week I've been taking Maca. Haven't needed it. Also, my mood is most certainly starting to elevate, my workouts at the gym have doubled in intensity, and to top it off, it's extremely healthy. Maca is chock full of amino acids, minerals, and vitamins. And as an adaptogen, it balances your whacked out endocrine system. One more thing, it's cheap as $hiz. Check this stuff out ladies and gentlemen!
I'm trying to find some others out there who have ingested this wonderful tuber and who would like to share their experiences. Anyone?

I take 3-4 half teaspoons a day mixed in water, juice, or a smoothie. No need for capsules. Tastes fine. Kind of like butterscotch. Each half teaspoon is 1500 mgs. I personally bought mine in powder form at my local tea/herb shop, but you can get it even cheaper online @ 2.2 lbs for around 20-30 bucks. So cheap....
