Pramiracetam experiences - no effect for me

After reading up for a while, I tried Pramiracetam over several (non consecutive) days. I bought it because I like strong effects. Well, it was disappointing.
Initially tried with 250mg (safety first!) and felt nothing.
Next time tried 800mg, felt sleepy.
Next time tried 1.25g, felt a slight buzz that was more like being mildly drunk (so not useful at all for concentration/work).
I've used 5 raw eggs as a choline source. It was taken with oil. The racetam comes from Health Supplement Wholesalers.
Thoughts?
Thinking to try to take it over consecutive days since I have to finish it anyway. Anyone seen a "kicking in" effect after a few days, or am I just wasting my time here? If so, I might just give it away.

I definitely find that I fumble my words more, especially when I'm trying to read from a sheet of paper. Typing it's not as noticeable, but I was reading stuff yesterday and I definitely read words ahead because I could piece the sentence together in my head, but couldn't say the words in the proper sequence. I can't be sure it's the noopept, but I'm taking a CILTEP stack with no racetams atm.

How are you dosing? I am doing 10mg sublingually. Perhaps I am screwing things up by avoiding first pass metabolism!
This study showed that noopept was not found in the brain 1hr after ingestion, but it's 3 metabolites were. The metabolites phenylacetic acid, prolylglycine and cyclo-prolylglycine were found in the brain, and may be responsible for it's nootropic effects.
