Also, teaching everyone how to build a house, just so they can build one house for themselves, seems inefficient. Why not teach a few people how to build houses, and then let other people do other work and trade the proceeds to the house builder? That seems more sensible, I wonder why nobody has implemented such a system.

To be fair, I would not categorize religious people as weak-willed. I see religion as a crutch. A crutch that one uses till they can grow into the ability to be at peace with reality. This does not make them weak willed.
