MDMA may help in depression and PTSD, study suggest. Taboo surrounding substances prevents further research. [THE GUARDIAN]

What they were answering

_angel · 1 points

I saw a study that showed that MDMA has less long term resistance than most prescribed pharmaceutical drugs. The obvious exception is when one abuses mdma though.

If one takes mdma safely there should be no noticeable life long resistance, or at least from an article a month ago tied to some study. I wish I remembered the source. sorry :/

That's due to the frequency of administration of those other pharmaceutical drugs. Take prescription SSRI antidepressants for example. Those you take every day for long periods of time. This causes massive changes to your serotonin system. They are not neurotoxic like MDMA, but their effects are more widespread because of how long they are taken for. MDMA neurotoxicity can me mitigated or eliminated by the use of various antioxidants, magnesium, and an SRI taken 5 hours after your drop. Keep your dosage reasonable, take breaks between uses, and take a lot of antioxidants during your roll, and MDMA can be done safely. Also, keep your body temperature low. That's key to preventing neurotoxicity.
