Iran test-fires missiles, sinks target not far from US-led international fleet.

What they were answering

Toned_F · -17 points

Not stupid enough? That would be the smartest thing they could do if they knew that fleet was out to get them. They would utterly rape any fleet in the Gulf. It's like shooting fish in a barrel, except the fish are really slow and big, the barrel is really small and shallow, and your bullets skim the waves at super-sonic speeds, giving the fish 30-60 seconds to do something about them, which, if there's more than a couple, will be absolutely nothing.

Not that I agree with it happening, but a US led military strike on Iran would destroy every major offensive and defensive Iranian asset within days. Iran would not stand a chance. Do you really think the US would have their fleet within range of Iran's defenses if they were planning an attack? They are within range right now because they are not planning on an attack. Like it or not, the United States military is unrivaled at the moment. Iran's military budget is $7 Billion. The US, $700 Billion. It does not serve either side to start a conflict, so all this posturing only serves as propaganda.

Yeah, definitely seen one of these before. If you look at the markings on the stone over there, you should see a carving of a cat sitting on a throne. This is definitely a fake 2500 year old port. Probably from the 1970'
