Ohh, sure it would be a risk. If Iran wanted to, they could retaliate against certain non-strategic bases in the region. However, my point was that if the US or Israel were going to strike, they would likely take out those offensive capabilities immediately to prevent that. I'm not condoning this strategy, I am merely postulating how it would go down if they decided on a strike. It does not serve either side to allow this to happen.
